Specializing in Wire Rope Recovery, Respooling & Recycling

Island Rope Ltd., located in Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island, has been recovering and recycling used and discarded wire rope running lines since June 1995.
We have removed from the woodlands on Vancouver Island, over 1,500,000 lbs of Cable. Some of this cable has been returned to service but most has been diposed of as scrap iron.
Island Ropes travels to the customers location, with our respooling equipment, crane truck and empty spools. The customer shows us where the cable is located and we respool it onto wooden spools until a full load is collected. The filled spools are stored and prepared for recycling at our Nanoose Plant.
All product is recorded and documented to give our clients proof of removal/disposal from their sites.
